As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, we rely on the help of volunteers to connect communities to land, food and opportunity toward a vision in which all neighborhoods are vibrant, equitable, healthy, and diverse. We offer a range of volunteer opportunities across three different programs: CalFresh at Farmers’ Markets, Neighborhood Empowerment, and Community Connections 95820.

Donate
Community Food Connections, a program of Alchemist CDC, provides emergency food support to struggling families (including newcomers and refugee populations) in partnership with Sacramento City Unified School District and their on-site social workers and case managers.
We can accept donations of unexpired, originally packaged shelf stable items and whole/unprocessed produce from all community members and unexpired, originally packaged fresh/refrigerated items direct from retail vendors. We also accept cash donations.
Contact Joe Robustelli, Food Assistance Programs Director, for more details at joe@alchemistcdc.org or visit https://alchemistcdc.org/cfc/ to learn more.
