The IRC’s Sacramento office supports refugees, asylees, trafficking survivors, and other vulnerable immigrants in the Sacramento region. 

Their Welcome & New Beginnings program provides housing, healthcare navigation, case management, and cultural orientation. Clients benefit from employment and career services, financial coaching, credit counseling, and microenterprise assistance, as well as holistic health and wellness support. Youth and young adult programs offer language learning, educational support, and safe spaces. 

Accredited legal experts assist with citizenship, green cards, work authorization, family petitions, DACA, U/U visas, and anti-trafficking aid. The New Roots Urban Farm and digital inclusion initiatives foster community, skills, and food security.
