The CARECEN Day Labor Center provides a free hiring site where employers can connect with registered day laborers for work in domestic services, construction, gardening, events, and logistics. 

The center offers restrooms, drinking water, seating, telephones, a classroom, parking, and shelter. 

Employers can submit job requests online or in person and receive worker match confirmations by email, phone call, or text within one business day. 

Day laborers have access to English and computer classes, wage theft consultations, legal referrals, worker rights workshops, and monthly health screenings. 

CARECEN Los Angeles also offers low‑cost immigration legal services in multiple offices across the region.
