Child Advocates of Placer and Yuba Counties recruits and trains volunteers to serve in their CASA program, as Court-Appointed Special Advocates for foster youth in Placer and Yuba counties. 

They match children with trained advocates who represent their interests in juvenile court and work with parents, schools, and courts to help ensure access to medical, dental, mental health, educational, and life skills support. 

Their Family Services team offers in-home support visits and life-skills training for parents whose children are at risk or temporarily placed outside the home.
