The Institute for Children’s Aid operates a Family Preservation, Reunification & Post-Release Services program to support unaccompanied refugee and immigrant children. 

They ensure children are placed in safe, nurturing homes by facilitating site visits and ongoing case management that includes school enrollment, pro bono immigration legal assistance, accessible medical and mental health services, support navigating immigration courts, independent living skills, and post-18 planning. Post-release services connect children and sponsors with essentials such as clothing, food, furniture, attorneys, and community resources.
