Agency Overview
JVS SoCal delivers multiple services to refugees and immigrants in Southern California.
Through its Refugee Employment Program (REP) and Refugee Employment & Acculturation Services (REAS), the agency provides employment placement, job fairs, cultural orientation, and supportive case management for refugees registered in LA County’s programs.
It also collaborates on LA County’s GAIN initiative to assist CalWORKs recipients—including refugees—with job placement and retention services.
JVS SoCal operates multiple America’s Job Centers of California, offering vocational assessments, career planning, resume assistance, mock interviews, and ongoing employer connections.
