Kings Community Action Organization (KCAO) administers multiple assistance programs in Kings County. 

Their Child Care Assistance Program subsidizes daycare in licensed centers, homes, or with TrustLine providers under various state-funded stages and Early Head Start partnerships. 

The Food and Nutrition program distributes emergency food, diapers, senior meals, and supports pantry services. 

Through their Utility/Weatherization Assistance, KCAO offers HEAP utility bill help and in-home energy efficiency upgrades. 

Their Family Development services include housing help, financial education, disaster case management, and free tax filing via VITA. 

They also operate CalAIM and Youth Services and provide home weatherization and energy bill relief.
