Mission Action provides direct support in San Francisco across four main areas. They offer emergency shelter, long term housing placements, rent assistance and landlord advocacy through programs like Dolores Shelter Program, Casa Quezada, Richard M Cohen Residence, Casa Colibrí and Stay Over Program for families. They deliver immigration legal services including deportation defense, free consultations, DACA assistance and rapid response education via their Legal Advocacy Program and network partnerships. They run a Community Services division offering food assistance via El Mercadito and culturally tailored health outreach and referrals through their Wellness Program. They operate worker hiring programs via the SF Day Labor Program and Women’s Collective for labor or cleaning needs.
