Agency Overview

NorCal Resist provides a range of concrete services including monthly food and diaper distributions and operation of the Seeds of Solidarity mutual aid farm. We hold twice monthly auto light repair clinics, a weekly english as a second language course online, and a wide variety of educational events free and open to the public, including a driving class for Afghan women, and after school tutoring.

The organization offers “Know Your Rights” trainings and accompaniment to court, ICE check‑ins, and doctor or school appointments. We are a partner organization in our ICE rapid response hotline, providing support and assistance to families impacted by ICE detentions, and verifying reports of ICE to help decrease panic in the community.

Pro se asylum clinics assist families with I‑589 asylum applications, TPS, Humanitarian Parole and work permit applications.

We manage a bail fund for ICE‑related or protest detentions and conduct day laborer outreach and deportation defense support.
