Agency Overview

The School of Freedom provides free after-school and tutoring programs for K–12 students in Sacramento and Elk Grove. Services include homework help, mentoring, enrichment activities, Saturday Academies, and summer learning support. Programs focus on English Learners, newcomer students, foster youth, students with disabilities, and low-income families.

The organization partners with schools and community groups to create safe, inclusive spaces where students can thrive academically and socially. Beyond Sacramento, the School of Freedom extends its mission globally through online education programs for girls in countries such as Afghanistan, helping students who would otherwise be denied access to schooling.
