Agency Overview
The Tiyya Foundation is an award-winning nonprofit that supports refugees, immigrants, and displaced indigenous communities in Los Angeles and Orange County.
When starting over in a new country, we understand that families are susceptible to isolation. Our programs are created to help families feel a sense of community through a robust calendar of activities while helping families secure community and acquire employment.
We understand that working hard and striving for upward economic mobility is a high priority for immigrant families. Through our services, we support individuals with job navigation and workforce readiness.
Made up of Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and Immigrant identifying folx; our gatherings are designed to develop community in a meaningful way. This is a great space for those seeking new experiences and expanding their network. Our events are rooted in international cuisines and global music. A great way to reimagine belonging after displacement.
