This session was designed with immediately usable tools to help direct service providers better support clients — especially when they’re struggling. We walked through the core principles of Psychological First Aid (PFA) and de-escalation techniques that can make a real difference, even in short interactions, by enhancing confidence in responding effectively and compassionately to clients experiencing acute distress.
