This session was designed with practical tools to help direct service providers strengthen referral-based partnerships and improve coordination for refugees and newcomers. We walked through the three essentials of strong referral pathways — clarity, consistency, and confidence — and introduced a “bonus C,” confidentiality, as a foundation for trust.

Participants also explored real-world case examples, the Support Guide Provider Directory, the Google Map, and the Referral Pathway Planning worksheet to identify gaps, expand networks, and create actionable steps for building stronger partnerships that enhance client outcomes.
